The European Rover Challenge is an annual international competition of Martian robots that was born in 2014. University teams from all over the world participate by competing with their own Mars rover.
The activities on which the rovers will be judged are based on actual missions from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The ERC is currently the competition that uses the
largest artificial Martian track in the world.
Alma-x participated for the first time in the 2019 edition.
